A pedestrian was hit and injured on Route d'Arlon in Capellen around 12.45pm. An emergency medical team from Luxembourg City and the Mamer fire and rescue teams attended the scene.
At 3.35pm, two people were injured in a collision between two cars on the CR326 road between Munshausen and Marnach. Rescue teams from Nordstad, Clervaux, Ettelbruck, and Kiischpelt responded, along with a rescue helicopter. The Grand Ducal Police confirmed to RTL that the helicopter was dispatched as a precaution, since it was initially unclear whether one of the drivers was trapped in their vehicle.
Just over an hour later, the rescue helicopter was called out again following an incident on the N10 near Machtum, where a tractor overturned, injuring one person. Emergency services from Remich, Wormeldange, and Flaxweiler were also on site to assist.
