The Light Leaks Festival returns to Luxembourg from 14 to 17 May 2026, celebrating its 10th anniversary with four days dedicated to street and documentary photography. Organised by the Luxembourg Streetphoto Collective, the international event brings together photographers, enthusiasts, and the public for talks, exhibitions, and workshops.
The festival will once again take place at the cultural venue Rotondes, located next to Luxembourg’s central train station, making it easily accessible by train, tram, and bus.
The festival officially opens on Thursday, 14 May, at 6 pm with a free reception, so make sure to attend!
This year’s exhibition features 20 invited photographers as well as members of the organising collective. Students from Lycée Aline Mayrisch and the Lycée des Arts et Métiers will also present projects alongside established photographers.
An additional video and physical installation titled ‘Loop & Cube’ by photographers Samantha Wilvert and Giulia Thinnes will be displayed in the Klub area of the Rotondes.
Beyond the exhibitions and talks, visitors can take part in several photography activities around the Rotondes. For instance, workshops take place on 14 and 16 May, a photowalk with Brice Gelot on 15 May, and a Flash Photography workshop with Dirty Harrry on 17 May. Local photographers will also showcase and sell prints and books at the festival’s ‘Bazaar’ area.
Moreover, participants can also present their work on the festival’s Open Wall, take part in a photo contest, attend portfolio reviews, and explore a photobook space curated by the bookstore Librairie Ernster.
This festival is the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of international photography, participate in workshops, and explore different exhibitions, so don’t miss the chance to experience it!
