The Luxembourg embassy in Vienna hosted an official reception in honour of Luxembourg's Eurovision Song Contest 2026 candidate Eva Marija just days before the competition.

Eurovision hopeful Eva Marija, her delegation, as well as Luxembourg nationals living in Vienna on Monday gathered at the Luxembourg embassy for a reception marking the Grand Duchy's return to the contest. In his address, Luxembourg's Ambassador to Austria, Jean Graff, highlighted the close ties between the Grand Duchy and Austria, while emphasising the important role the Eurovision Song Contest plays in fostering cultural exchange across Europe.

Adding to the Eurovision flair were performances from special guests, including Irem – who came third at this year's Luxembourg Song Contest – and Austrian ESC participant Cosmo, making the evening a memorable prelude to the main event.

For Eva Marija and the Luxembourg delegation, the reception provided a valuable opportunity to connect with fans and partners ahead of the anticipated performance at Eurovision 2026.
