A medical emergency led to the interruption of French singer Sarah Schwab's concert at Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains on Saturday evening.

An eyewitness told RTL that the house lights were suddenly switched on during the performance, and shortly afterwards, an announcement was made asking for a doctor in the audience. The incident occurred in the back rows, where a man required resuscitation at the scene.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) confirmed that emergency services were called to Casino 2000 shortly before 10pm. The man was treated by medical personnel for nearly an hour before being transported to hospital. CGDIS did not provide further information on his condition.

The concert did not resume following the incident.
