Luxembourg could soon have a contestant on Beast Games, the Amazon Prime Video reality series created by YouTube star MrBeast, as two candidates from the Grand Duchy are currently competing for the chance to take part in its third season.
Beast Games is a reality series by YouTube star MrBeast on Amazon Prime Video, in which contestants take part in physical, mental, and social challenges and compete for a prize of up to US$5 million.
The reality series is one of the biggest and most ambitious ever produced for a streaming platform. The concept comes from YouTube star MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, who is also the presenter and executive producer.
According to Amazon, the series is the most-watched unscripted series worldwide on Prime Video, with more than 50 million viewers in its first 25 days. The show reached number one in more than 80 countries.
Two Luxembourgers are now in the running to take part in the third season: Lony and Bruno, with voting open from today.
One of the two will ultimately represent the Grand Duchy in season 3 of Beast Games. Voting for one of the two Luxembourg candidates is possible directly on the website and remains open until 1 May.
However, no exact date has yet been announced for the third season. What is known is that it will be a more international edition, as candidates are being selected by country and will take part as national representatives.
