
Theme parks across Europe are preparing a wave of new attractions for 2026, with resorts unveiling family rides, themed lands and high-tech roller coasters aimed at drawing visitors in 2026.
Disneyland, France
Opening of the new theme world Frozen in March, 2026.
The highly anticipated themed area, the Kingdom of Arendelle, where visitors will immerse themselves in the world of Frozen, Anna and Olaf, will open its doors on 29 March 2026.
Disneyland Paris is also rebranding Walt Disney Studios Park as Disney Adventure World.

Paira Daiza, Belgium
The animal park has inaugurated a new indoor area this year called Edenya.
Edenya is a unique tropical world and, according to the park, the world’s largest tropical greenhouse, featuring a majestic waterfall, crystal-clear rivers, a vibrant jungle and a sunlit beach.
It is home to rare and fascinating animals as well as one of Europe’s largest butterfly habitats.

Sparxx Antwerp, Belgium
In spring 2026, Europe’s largest sportainement park will open in Antwerp.
More than 50 sports, alongside fun and technology, are brought together under one roof.

New illusion show at Efteling, Netherlands
Efteling has announed a new Illusions Show at the Efteling Theatre starting from Friday 3 April, 2026.
The new show is called Magicaluna and is suitable for the whole family : recommended age 6 years and up).

Two new Family attractions coming to Dennlys Parc France in 2026
Dennlys Park, located not far from Lille and Calais, is a family-focused theme park, offering a mix of rides, shows and attractions aimed primarily at families with children.
The park is adding two new families attractions in 2026.
One is Draknor, a new family drop tower, and the second is Nessia, a new attraction for younger guests – a colourful family ride described as a gentle spinning attraction, playful and accessible.

New attraction at Festyland near Caen, Normandy’s largest amusement park
A new family attraction named Valkyrie is expected to open at Festyland when the park reopens for the new season in April 2026.
Valkyrie will be a roller coaster model called the Family Boomerang, built by Vekoma, a well-known roller coaster manufacturer in the theme park industry.

New attractions for 2026 at Portaventura World, Spain
The park has announced two new attractions: Makamanu Jungle – The Adventure Trek in the Polynesia area, and Coral Bay – The Lost Legend in the water park.
Both attractions aim to enhance the visitor experience and position the water park as a leading destination for aquatic leisure.

New water coaster at Freizeitpark Plohn, Germany
The park will unveil a new water roller coaster in 2026, combining high-tech thrills with water-based fun on a ride by Mack Rides, the German company behind Europa-Park.

New family roller coaster at Plopsaland, Germany
The name of the ride is 100% Wolf inspired by the animated adventure film 100% Wolf.
The roller-coaster is ideal for both kids and adults alike.

Paw Patrol Land Chessington World of Adventures, UK
The UK’s first and only themed land based on the global preschool hit PAW Patrol will open at Chessington World of Adventures, aimed at families with young children.

Bluey Ride at Alton Towers,UK
In spring 2026, Alton Towers Resort will introduce the world’s first Bluey-themed roller coaster, aimed at younger visitors and their families. The attraction is expected to prove popular with families with young children.
