Every year on Ascension Day, the Landjugenddag ("Rural Youth Day") brings together young people from across the country for a few enjoyable hours.
The Diekirch Rural Youth organised the 50th edition of this traditional festival on Ascension Day, the planning for which began in 2024. Five large games were offered along a nine-kilometre course around the town. The water game proved the biggest success, despite the rain.
A total of 180 teams from all over the country took part.
The Clervaux Rural Youth will be responsible for organising the Landjugenddag in 2027. That edition is scheduled for Thursday, 6 May 2027.
