Amongst some of the events you can expect on Saturday are the special Télévie campaign, reports on patients and researches, and the presentation of the new Télévie song There for you.
People unite across the nation for the 18th time in the fight against cancer. For the occasion, five pledge centres - Wilwerwiltz (Kiischpelt), Junglinster, Mersch, Schifflange and the Centre de Promesses (Centre of Promises) in Rodange - will be home to a number of activities in support of the Télévie initiative.
The event kickoff is Friday at 7pm. From that moment on, the Télévie-counter will run until late on Saturday evening. All the donations gathered throughout the year as well as those from tonight until tomorrow will be displayed on the meter. As a reminder: last year the counter stopped at a spectacular and record-breaking €1,674,429. This record amount was donated exclusively to cancer research.
