Luxembourg airport recorded a 12% increase in passenger numbers: while 3,6 million customers passed through Lux-Airport in 2017, more than 4 million travel enthusiasts took off from Findel in 2018.
With almost 400,000 passengers, July broke all records.
Porto remains the number one destination in terms of passenger numbers, followed by Lisbon, Munich, Frankfurt and London.
Among other things, the ballooning of passenger numbers is mainly due to the launching of new routes: Bordeaux, Keflavik, Brac and seasonal destinations such as Marrakech, Seville, Enfidha and Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates did not fail to attract.
