Fire departments from 5 different municipalities - Lintgen, Boevange-sur-Attert, Ettelbrück, Mersch and Nommern - were on site to put out the flames.
Fortunately nobody was injured, and consequences did not exceed material damage.
A little later in the evening, just before 7.30pm, a cyclist fell off his bike and was injured between Hobscheid and Eischen. The Stengefort ambulance and fire brigade were there, as were the Hobscheid fire bridge.
