During the night from Friday to Saturday, a group of intruders made their way into the kindergarten and caused significant material damage. They destroyed a window, sprayed the walls with graffiti, and emptied the content of a fire extinguisher, among other things.
Although no objects of value were reported as stolen, experts still believe the cost of repair to amount to at least €100,000. Cleaning operations were immediately launched on Saturday, and for now, some classes had to be relocated to the local daycare building.
Kindergarteners are expected to be back in their familiar environment as of Wednesday.
