Police intervened in Ettelbruck on Saturday evening after being alerted that a bus passenger was carrying a weapon.
Officers intercepted the vehicle and checked the man who had been reported. It turned out that the object in question was an air pistol.
The weapon was immediately seized, and an official report was filed.
No further incidents were recorded, and the other passengers were able to continue their journey.
