The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration has recalled eggs sold under the "Econom" and "Everyday" brands due to a possible risk of salmonella.

The Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration (ALVA) announced a new product recall on Wednesday. The recall concerns brown "Econom" eggs from barn hens, sold in packs of 30, as well as "Everyday" eggs sold in packs of 12.

The affected products have best-before dates between 6 May 2026 and 29 May 2026. According to ALVA, an orange awareness level applies, meaning consumers should exercise caution.
