At around 9.20 pm on Monday evening, two armed culprits robbed a petrol station on route de Longwy in Pétange.

The two individuals threatened an employee of the service station with a firearm and demanded that she hand over the contents of the cash register.

The two criminals fled with the money. A search operation, which had been launched shortly after the robbery, was unsuccessful. The employee who was threatened during the robbery suffered no physical injuries.

An investigation has been opened.
