One of the individuals involved in the brawl suffered cutting and stabbing wounds and consequently had to be taken to hospital.

In another incident, a pedestrian was hit by a car around 7.45pm in Mersch on Friday evening. The woman was taken to hospital but, luckily, she only suffered minor injuries.
In addition, three motorists had to hand over their driving licenses as they had all been drinking. Another two drivers were fined.
