A robbery took place in Huldange's Knauf shopping centre at 3am on Thursday morning.

On Thursday morning a security guard raised the alarm when he discovered a broken window in the shopping centre. A jewellery shop appears to have been the target, with a display cabinet ransacked and emptied of valuables. The perpetrators were able to escape before attracting attention.

On Thursday evening around 11.50pm another robbery took place, this time in Dudelange on Rue de la Libération.

The victim had stopped with his car at a garage, where 2 individuals attacked him and stole the car before escaping. One of the perpetrators had brown hair, a beard, and was around 1,75m tall. Both men were in their early twenties and wore denim jackets.

The stolen vehicle was a white Mercedes GLA 200 D with the Luxembourg number plate 58688.
