The authorities have confirmed that a serious accident involving a car and a lorry occurred between the Iergärtchen and Sandweiler roundabouts late on Tuesday morning.
The N2 has been completely closed to traffic. The Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL) advises drivers to avoid the area until further notice.
