Just before 7pm on Thursday, emergency services from Grevenmacher-Mertert were called to an accident on the road from Mompach to Mertert.
A motorist coming from Mompach lost control over her vehicle at a right turn and collided with a with a second car that was heading in the opposite direction.
The impact caused the car to flip over before landing on its roof next to the road. The second car swivelled following the collision.
The driver of the smaller car was brought to hospital for treatment, while the driver of the of the second sustained minor injuries.
Both vehicles are severely damaged.
Emergency services from Grevenmacher-Mertert attended the site of the incident with 14 members of staff and four vehicles.
