Two people were injured in an accident in Niederglabach, near Nommern as the driver was distracted by her phone.

Two ambulances, two fire brigades and first responders (Samu) were mobilised on Sunday afternoon in Niederglabach following an accident that caused two minor injuries.

According to the police, the car hit a wall on the other side of the road. The violent impact of the collision caused the car to flip over and slide along several metres whilst upside down.

When questioned by the police, the driver admitted to have been 'distracted' because she was looking at her phone. The car is a complete write off.

Emergency services reported an accident in Differdange which occurred at around 6 pm. Here, a car crashed into a number of parked vehicles. One person was injured.
