The Greens hold five seats on the Luxembourg City council. Maria Eduarda de Macedo was sworn in as a new councillor on Monday. During the last elections in 2017, De Macedo finished in tenth place.
Furthermore, Back will be replaced in the Chamber of Deputies, where he served for three years. He is to be replaced by Jessie Thill, a 25-year-old councilwoman from Walferdange.
