In Remich, a drunken café guest refused to pay his bills around ten o’clock in the evening. When he tried leaving the establishment, he struck another guest in the face and also damaged the entry door.

When police arrived at the scene, the man tried escaping despite appearing to be cooperative at first. A second patrol unit managed to detain him in Rue Saint-Nicolas, after which officers wanted to bring the man to a hospital. However, since he began insulting and threatening the officers, they decided to take him to the station to sober up. Charges were pressed.

In Rue de Mersch in Larochette, a similar incident took place around eight o’clock. Another drunken café guest assaulted a couple, who ended up with light injuries and needed to go to the hospital for a check-up.

Police later found the man in his home and decided to take him to the station. After an interrogation, he was brought home again, although the man did not stay inside for very long. Shortly after, he was reportedly back in town, outside of the café, where he took off his shirt and began provoking the remaining guests. Officers decided to take the man to the station again, as he was endangering himself and others.
