The 64-year-old driver was arrested Wednesday morning in Bitburg after demolishing several cars. According to police reports, the sexagenarian reportedly caused at least 5 accidents and damaged several parked vehicles.
Arrested by the police, she was subjected to a blood alcohol test which revealed an exceptional blood alcohol level: she had over 4 grams of alcohol per litre of blood.
Witnesses alerted authorities to the woman's mad marathon that ended in Bitburg's city centre. The motorist in question was not injured but lost her licence. Her family had to go and get her at the police station.
