The victim was approached by a car, the driver of which passed himself off as a representative of an Italian luxury brand.

The man claimed to be on his way to Basel and did not want to take the clothes with him across the border as the Swiss border control would confiscate them.

The fraudster did not stop pressing the victim until he agreed to buy his goods. In the bag he found 4 used leather jackets of poor quality.

The police assumes that the presumed perpetrator repeatedly performs this stunt. Any eyewitness or individual with potential information, please contact the Diekirch police.
