A man suspected of robbing a newsagent in Luxembourg City's Bonnevoie district on Wednesday afternoon was brought before an examining magistrate on Thursday morning.
At around 1.50pm on Wednesday, a hooded individual entered the newsagent's and demanded that an employee hand over the contents of the till before fleeing with the stolen cash. Officers launched an investigation and conducted searches in the surrounding area, during which a man matching the description of the suspect was apprehended. A search of the individual revealed a large sum of money and a hooded mask.
Arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office, the suspect was brought before an examining magistrate the following morning.
