DefamationHunters to take Armand Clesse to court for describing them as "murderers"

RTL Today
On 23 February, the former director of the Luxembourg Institute for European and International Studies, Armand Clesse, was a guest on RTL's "Background" show. Two hunters have taken issue with Clesse's assertions and plan to take him to court for defamation.

Clesse will have to answer to court in Diekirch on 24 June due to comments he made on an RTL show. The former director is being taken to court by two hunters, one of whom is Marc Glesener, the former spokesperson of the Hunters' Federation.

The two hunters are accusing Clesse of having damaged the honour of hunters, as he described them as murderers who enjoy killing. The hunters maintain he planned on damaging their reputation and causing disdain amongst the public. Both hunters are calling for €2,500 in damages.
