
Due to the circumstances surrounding the health crisis Info-Handicap had to reinvent their campaign, falling back on home office and zoom meetings. These restrictions, however, motivated the team to launch outside-the-box ideas.
The organisation called on individuals with and without disabilities to participate in the campaign. The concept is as follows: Each day between 3 - 24 December, viewers get a short and intriguing glimpse into the life of a participant. To this end, 2-minute videos were made to bring the subject closer to the viewers.
The formats are diverse, ranging from storytelling to interviews, dance to music, or from reports to sporting events. The put the campaign into practice Info-Handicap was supported by cinematographers and filmmakers. The video is accessible to all, including in German sign language, and with audio description as as well as subtitles. The organisers even composed and recorded their own song for the video, which you can hear below:
