A robbery took place on Boulevard Prince Henri shortly before 6pm on Thursday. The police are looking for witnesses of the incident.

A man threatened a shop assistant with an axe and demanded that she hand over the money in the till. After doing so, the culprit fled the scene. The police have so far been unable to locate the man. The shop assistant was not injured.

The police are looking for a man, most likely between 25 and 30 years old, and 1.70 to 1.75 meters tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark clothing and hid his face behind a mask.

Potential witnesses are asked to contact the police, either by calling 113 or by writing an e-mail to spj.rgb@police.etat.lu
