Around 1am on Saturday night/Sunday morning, a fire at Manternach town hall was reported to emergency services.

However, when the fire brigade turned up, there was no fire, only a broken window and alarm system. Police searched the building and found one suspect, who, by order of the public prosecutor's office, now has an appointment with the examining magistrate.

Furthermore, on Saturday evening around 8.30pm, one pedestrian was attacked by an unknown man on Avenue Monterey in the city centre. He did not sustain any further injuries, and his assailant did not succeed in robbing him of his valuables. A formal complaint was filed.
