The memorial ceremony will take place at 3pm on Friday to honour the deceased DP parliamentary bloc leader.
Chamber president Fernand Etgen, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel, and new bloc leader Gilles Baum are expected to make speeches during the ceremony.
Knaff will be sworn in as a new MP on Tuesday.
