Tuesday 17 December 2019 has become a historic day for the history of Luxembourg's Airport in Findel, but not for anything related to the management of the airport.
Tuesday saw the record for the mildest day in December smashed, albeit by a marginal 0.1°C.
The Findel weather station recorded temperatures of 14.7°C, beating the previously-held record for the warmest day in December, which was back in 1953.
