RTL contacted the army's bomb disposal unit, which confirmed that construction crews found German anti-tank mines whilst working on roadworks along the N10.
The police were at the scene for additional security, giving the all-clear just after 11am. Drivers were advised to avoid the area around the N10 construction site.
