A total of 3,957 students are registered for the 2026 summer session final exams, which commence next Monday, the Ministry of Education has announced.

The written final exams for students in classical and general secondary education will begin next Monday, 18 May 2026.

A total of 3,957 candidates are registered for the 2026 summer session, according to the Ministry of Education. Of these, 2,224 are women (56.2%) and 1,733 are men (43.8%).

Registrations for the various final exams break down as follows:

  • Classical secondary final exams: 1,750 students (970 women, 780 men)
  • General secondary final exams: 2,207 students (1,254 women, 953 men)

Among the candidates sitting the final exams, ten (four women and six men) attended evening classes.

A total of 1,674 members of 272 examination boards will assess the written, oral, and practical exams.

Minister of Education Claude Meisch wished "good luck to all the candidates for these exams, which will conclude their secondary school studies and pave the way for higher education or working life."
