Two men managed to break open the slot machine without anyone noticing. However, once they tried getting the money out of the apparatus, the café owner realised what was happening and alerted the police.
One of the perpetrators managed to escape before officers arrived, but the second one was detained and arrested by order of the prosecutor’s office. On Sunday morning, he already had to face an examining magistrate.
After a brief investigation, both men are now further under the suspicion of having pulled a similar move with a slot machine in Ettelbruck on Friday.
