A road accident involving a pedestrian occurred on Thursday in Hosingen.
The incident happened at around 5.15pm on the "Op der Hei" road. A person was struck and injured by a car. Alongside the local fire service and an ambulance, the rescue helicopter was also dispatched to the scene.
Separately, on Thursday evening, a person was injured on the A13 motorway heading towards Pétange, near Gadderscheier.
In that incident, a motorist hit the crash barrier with their vehicle. Firefighters and an ambulance from Esch-sur-Alzette and Sanem-Differdange attended the scene.
