Three motorists received fines of €145, as well as losing two points from their licences.
Another motorist was stopped for driving whilst over the legal alcohol limit, as well as speeding 25 kilometres over the limit. Police seized the man’s car on the spot and confiscated his licence.
A fifth motorist had also drunk too much prior to getting in his car, and when stopped, failed to produce valid papers. The vehicle was also not insured. Officers searching the car also located a can of pepper spray, which was confiscated on the spot.
