Around 7.15pm, police officers stopped a car that was snaking all over the street on the stretch between Crauthem and Hellange. Upon inspection, it quickly became clear that the driver had been drinking. As he was not willing to undergo a breathalyser test, the officers issued him a driving ban and fined him.
Later that evening at 9.15pm, police officers were called to respond to an incident involving three drivers in Holzem. Due to a disagreement, two drivers had stopped the third from proceeding.
The unhappy drivers displayed obvious signs of inebriation. One of the motorists tested positive for alcohol consumption and was relieved of his licence immediately, while the other managed to leave with only a ticket.
