Traditionally, tens of thousands of people travel to Wiltz in order to worship Our Lady Fatima on Ascension Day. Many of these are already on their way by Wednesday, either on foot or by car, in order to meet in Heiderscheidergrund, for example.
In this context, the police would once again like to remind people that:
- it is strictly forbidden to camp alongside the N15 or in the surrounding area in Heiderscheidergrund.
- they should respect environmental laws, especially as concerns littering around parking areas.
- that all traffic regulations are still in effect and any infringements will be booked.
The police also announces its active presence so as to not only ensure order, but also provide advice and assistance.
