Shoura calls believers to live by principles of charity and goodwill during the Ramadan period. According to Shoura, around 18 to 20,000 Muslims live in Luxembourg.

Religious Muslims forgo food, drink, smoking and sex while the sun is up. Once the sun has gone down, they come together to break their fast. As follows, life is quickly transposed to the hours of the evening/night.

Roughly 1,5 billion people follow the Muslim faith worldwide.
