According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture, and Rural Development, the autumn of 2020 is the fifth hottest autumn since records began.

A temperature of 35.2 °C was recorded in Steinsel on 15 September, which is the highest temperature ever recorded for the month of September in Luxembourg. Another record-breaking temperature was recorded in Remerschen on 2 November with 21.8 °C.

In addition, the Ministry stated that the autumn of 2020 was also significantly dryer compared to previous years.
