Temperatures have seen another drop on Monday morning with the averages hovering around 0°C. Météolux issued a warning on Sunday in which it said that the temperature drop was likely to make the roads slippery in the morning.
This warning is valid for Monday morning, as well as for Tuesday, as weather forecasts suggest that it will probably be even colder than the previous day.
You should therefore be especially careful on the country's roads and motorways, particularly, if you have already changed your tyres.
Good to know: once there are "wintery conditions", the police is entitled to check your tyres and to give you a warning if you don't have winter tyres. In Luxembourgish legislation, there are no set dates when you should change from winter to summer tyres.
