In order to keep up with the needs of a growing population, Luxembourg's cabinet decided to increase the Samu fleet by one car.
The emergency vehicle will initially be stationed at Hesperange's emergency centre. The three other cars are currently stationed in Ettelbruck, Luxembourg City, and Esch-sur-Alzette.
Up until now, Luxembourg has had one Samu car per 200,000 inhabitants. By comparison, Germany's Rhineland-Palatinate state boasts one car per 60,000 inhabitants.
