According to information received, an Antonov-type plane is said to have made a rough landing at Findel late on Sunday afternoon.
Little information is available at this stage, with Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) teams confirming an intervention on the Findel runway without giving further details.
At least one incoming Luxair flight has had to hold off before landing and remain in the air for the time being, as can be seen on the Flightradar24 site. Numerous Lux-Airport vehicles can also be seen on the tarmac.
Delays and possible cancellations are to be expected, with more information to follow. According to Lux-Airport, air traffic around Findel is currently on standby.
