On Thursday afternoon, officers of the Luxembourg-Gare police station surveilled the walkway above the train tracks.
Knowledge of the drug deals as well as a description of the suspect led to the area being surrounded.
Officers observed two people preparing a deal from afar. In order to prevent the respective buyer and seller from escaping, the police intervened before the trade took place.
As the presumed perpetrator was searched, officers found 74 bags of cocaine, a couple of phones and a considerable sum of money.
The public prosecutor’s office was informed and the man was arrested. He faced an examining magistrate this Friday.
