Police spokespersons have confirmed that the two girls, missing since last week, have been found safe and sound.
According to the authorities, the grandmother of the two girls contacted the police on Monday around 10.45pm to report their return. A patrol was sent on the spot to accompany them home.
On Monday, a sexagenarian, who had been missing from Hesperange was also found. She is currently in a hospital in the city of Avignon.
In total, three search notices had been released by police last week. On Tuesday 4 June, calls for witnesses were halted.
