The motorist was driving along Route de Thionville and turned towards Rue de Hesperange at the crossing, which has traffic lights, where they collided with a cyclist. The cyclist admitted himself that he had cycled over the crossing when the light remained green for cars.
The cyclist was injured in the collision and was taken to hospital.
At 10.55am, two cars collided on Route de Mersch in Bissen. Two people were injured in the accident. Rescue services from Bissen and Ettelbruck were at the scene.
