At 11am on Monday on Route d'Arlon in Mamer, three workers were on a scaffolding in the process of replacing a window in the building of the construction site.
The replacement window weighed several hundred kilograms and required the use of a crane to be put in position. The scaffolding, which was 6.5 metres above the ground, all of a sudden tilted backwards for a yet undetermined reason. All three workers fell to the ground.
One of the three individuals sustained severe injuries and had to go hospital. The second was lightly injured and the third worker luckily came away with no injuries.
The Inspectorate of Labour and Mines (ITM) received a notification of the accident and was at the scene.
