One of the workers was run over by the machine, while the other was crushed between the road roller and a wheelbarrow. The second man was rescued from his position with a hydraulic machine.
The driver of the road roller was not injured.
Emergency services from Grevenmacher-Mertert and Linster, the Luxembourg City first responders (Samu), Grevenmacher police, and a representative of the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines attended the site of the accident.
