The weather will be changing noticeably from Friday, as more stable air will bring sunshine and temperatures already nudging 20°C. The improvement will continue throughout the weekend.

Saturday will see skies clear further, with highs of around 22°C and conditions remaining dry and pleasant. Light winds and a distinctly spring-like feel will prevail, with sheltered spots even hinting at something closer to summer. On Sunday, temperatures will potentially climb to around 23°C by mid-afternoon, and while some passing clouds are expected, rain looks unlikely.

Sadly, the mild spell will not last. From Sunday evening, forecast models point to rain and showers moving in overnight and conditions becoming increasingly unsettled into the following week. By Tuesday, temperatures are expected to fall back sharply, with highs of no more than 14°C and wetter conditions returning.

In the meantime, the weekend offers a welcome bright interlude, ideal for making the most of a terrace, a long walk, or the first outdoor activities of the season before the weather turns once more.
