On Saturday evening, the “Bëllia Bratzelgecken” invited people to the night parade in Wasserbillig. According to the organisers, around 50 music groups were expected to take part in the approximately two-kilometer-long procession along the Moselle River. Overall, this was already the 37th parade celebrated in Wasserbillig.
A total of 1,500 kilograms of sweets, 1,000 liters of wine, and 2,000 pretzels were planned for the festivities, which started at 6pm along the Moselle riverbank. After the parade, the celebration continued in the festival hall, where there was carnival music and food from several food trucks.
