An interministerial assessment unit met here yesterday afternoon to assess the situation. The wildfire has also prompted an evacuation across the border in Germany, as the flames and smoke moved closer to the town of Monschau.

But prosecutors aim to show that Duane "Keffe D" Davis, onetime leader of the South Side Compton Crips, ordered the killing and provided the gun used in a drive-by shooting.
